Exercise 57 CIOX E-SmartLog Advanced Search Report CIOX e-SmartLog will be sunset from AHIMA VLab on June 1, 2020. Instructions:
STEP 1: Use of the CIOX Health ROI eSmartlog application requires use of Internet Explorer (IE) in Compatibility Mode. If you need help ensuring that you are in Compatibility Mode, exit this activity and download the CIOX Health ROI eSmartlog FAQs document from the CIOX resource section. STEP 2: If you have not done so previously, you must complete the Enter New Request steps for all requests in Exercises 6.1 through 6.20. For each request, enter the additional information found at the bottom of each request (chart location, number of pages released, delivery method, main reason for request). STEP 3 : Run Advanced Search Report of 20 entries: • From e-SmartLog home page, select “Request Search”. • Select first bullet “Advanced Search”. • The data fields on the left side of the search screen are the data which will be used to search for your 20 requests: • Student ID • Instructor ID o School Login • The data fields on the right side of the screen are those that will be presented in the report. Check the following data to be included in your report: o Login ID (default) o Patient Name o Dates of Service o Chart Location o Requester Type o Delivery method STEP 4: After the data fields on the right and left side of the search screen are selected, hit the SEARCH button to run the report. QUALITY CHECK • How many columns are in your report? • Were all 20 requests captured? • Are all columns completed correctly? • Are any fields blank? (The only blank fields should be the delivery method when no records are sent.) STEP 5: Submit the following to your instructor. After the report is generated, make a screen print to submit to your instructor per instructions. You may also select the link in the lower-right corner of the page entitled “Printable Report.” Print it as a PDF, which will open a “save as” dialog to save it as a PDF document. Submit that to your instructor
